Completing the binder

To finish the binder I need to trim it to size. To help me to trim accurately, I make a little jig from one of my transparencies, using pinholes at the corners and half-way across each edge. Using an etching needle I can transfer the marks to the paper before cutting with a sharp blade and metal ruler. Next I score and fold the front flaps. After that it goes into the book press for a few hours to flatten the folds completely.
